How healthy foods are key in losing weight

Eating healthy foods can be challenging at times. When it comes to tracking food, sometimes I want to cry myself off. Sometimes when I go grocery shopping, I feel like Granny Smith Apples. I just love how sour they are, do you? It is crunchy so it’s better than potato chips.

However, when I scan and see the numbers it is shocking sometimes. Granny Smith apple is healthy but it is sugary. It is healthy sugar but still sugar and a whopping 22g of carbs. I did not expect that.

There are days that I would rather game all day with my food. This comes when I haven’t had an apple in forever. There are days that I stick with blueberries or strawberries. In avoiding the would you rather moments, I always end up with an apple.

Lightly Salted Rice Cakes have 0 sugar and only 7g of carbs, 35 calories. Deciding to have 2 of those would still be lower than the apple. My apple is 80 calories and 2 rice cakes are 75.

So that’s just to share with you about Fruit and Sugar.

Would you rather? And yes an Apple is more nutritious than the processed rice cake.

Sausage is a common part of breakfast food but:

If you’re trying to improve your eating habits for improved health, there are other meats and non-meat protein sources that provide better nutrition.

One link of Aidells Chicken and Apple sausage provides 180 calories, 12 grams of fat, 3.5 grams of saturated fat, 12 grams of protein, and 640 milligrams of sodium. Very fit.

The sodium is pretty high to aim for under 2,000g per day. Turkey bacon is better.
